Lakeside Activity & Adventure Centre
The Lakeside Centre is the base for the National Watersports Training Centre and on-site is the Lakeside Caravan & Camping Park a four star rated touring site, complete with environmentally friendly playpark.
Activities
Windsurfing, Sailing, Orienteering, Team games, Canoeing, Kayaking, Archery, Sand dune Beach walks, cliff jumping, these are just a few of the activities which are organized at the Lakeside centre by our outdoor staff, come and try for fun with mates or organizes groups / schools or Clubs. Activities normanly start at 10.00 / 2.00 / 7.00 during the summer months
Caravan and Camping
This site opens on the 15 March 07 and right through out the year, with shower toilets and changing rooms on site, plus a all day Restaurant with a beauitful veiw of the lake with the back top of the Cliff of Magho. you can have a all day Breakfast / Lunch or Tea for indivduals or groups. the site as a 24 hr 7 days a week camp warden, gate will be lock at 11.00pm and open at 7.30 am.
Hire
Pedelos are for hire during the summer months with 2 to four persons at a time, Life jackets are given out to each person. windsurfing and sailing vessals can be hired on site plus Canoes and Kayaks, Rescue boat will on the water during all session.
Onsite facilities also include a Rugby and Soccer Pitch
