Carnival Ballyshannon
Carnival Ballyshannon is run in association with the Donegal Bay and Bluestacks Festival of Events and takes place in October of each year.
The Carnival features many locals as well as visiting groups.
Carnival Ballyshannon is a kaleidoscope of colour and sound and has now become part of the annual calendar of events in Ballyshannon.
Carnival 2008 - Glitter and Glow
Ballyshannon Carnival 2008 - Glitter and Glow took place on Saturday 4th October. Over 3000 people lined the streets of Ballyshannon for what was another very successful event as part of the annual Donegal Bay and Bluestacks Festival. Visiting groups from Belfast, Sligo, Killybegs and Inisowen were joined by locals from schools and groups in Ballyshannon and Bundoran to create a fantastic Carnival which was full of colour and sound.
