Angling in Ballyshannon:
Anglers will be amazed at the range of fishing opportunities in and around Ballyshannon; game, coarse and sea angling can all be enjoyed on the rivers lakes and out on Donegal Bay.
The Donegal Coastline is washed by some of the cleanest seas in Europe with many dramatic cliffs and miles of wide strands.
The Game Angler is spoilt for choice in the region with rivers such as the Eany, Eske and Finn providing a variety of Salmon, Grisle, Sea Trout and Wild Brown Trout. The Eany River in South West Donegal is an excellent summer grilse and Sea Trout Fishery with 8 mile of fishing and 45 pools.
