Town Council
Welcome to Ballyshannon Town Council website. In this site we have endeavoured to include information and application forms relating to Ballyshannon Town Council, the services provided and useful telephone numbers.
We have also included a Ballyshannon Town section, which contains important information about facilities within the town – ranging from education, healthcare and enterprise to heritage, arts and sporting organisations.
Ballyshannon Town Council works in partnership with Donegal County Council, the community, the private sector and the public sector to develop the town of Ballyshannon.
Ballyshannon Town Council as a local authority plays both a representational and operational role. There are 9 Elected Members to Ballyshannon Town Council. These members were elected in June 2004. In accordance with the Local Government Act 2001 elections take place every 5 years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped compile this site and to those who provided information and photographs.
Remember your comments or queries are always welcome.
